A fork network consists of a parent repository, the repository's forks, and forks of the repository's forks. If your repository was part of a fork network, it cannot be restored unless every other repository in the network is deleted or has been detached from the network. For more information about forks, see [Forks](/en/pull-requests/reference/forks).\n\nIf you want to restore a repository that was part of a fork network that is not currently empty, you can contact us through the [GitHub Support portal](https://support.github.com).\n\n> \\[!IMPORTANT]\n> You can only contact GitHub Support to restore a repository if you are on a paid GitHub plan. For more information about the different plans, see [GitHub's plans](/en/get-started/learning-about-github/githubs-plans).\n\nIt can take up to an hour after a repository is deleted before that repository is available for restoration.\n\nRestoring a repository will not restore team permissions.\n\n## Restoring a deleted repository that was owned by a personal account\n\n1. In the upper-right corner of any page on GitHub, click your profile picture, then click ** Settings**.\n2. In the \"Code planning, and automation\" section of the sidebar, click ** Repositories**.\n3. Under \"Repositories\", click **Deleted repositories**.\n\n \n4. Next to the repository you want to restore, click **Restore**.\n\n \n5. Read the warning, then click **I understand, restore this repository**.\n\n## Restoring a deleted repository that was owned by an organization\n\n1. In the upper-right corner of GitHub, click your profile picture, then click ** Organizations**.\n2. Select an organization by clicking on it.\n3. Under your organization name, click ** Settings**. If you cannot see the \"Settings\" tab, select the **** dropdown menu, then click **Settings**.\n\n \n4. In the left sidebar, click **Deleted repositories**.\n5. Next to the repository you want to restore, click **Restore**.\n\n \n6.
