See [Contributions on your profile](/en/account-and-profile/concepts/contributions-on-your-profile).\n\n## Viewing contributions in a specific time range\n\n1. In the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile picture, then click **Your profile**.\n\n2. To see a visual representation of your contributions, scroll down to the section labeled \"NUMBER contributions in the last year\".\n\n   > \\[!NOTE]\n   > Commits will only appear on your contributions calendar if the email address you used to author the commits is connected to your GitHub account. For more information, see [Troubleshooting missing contributions](/en/account-and-profile/how-tos/contribution-settings/troubleshooting-missing-contributions#your-local-git-commit-email-isnt-connected-to-your-account)\n\n3. To view contributions made on a specific day, click the square corresponding to that day.\n\n4. To view contributions made over a specific time span, click the square corresponding to the start of the time span, press <kbd>Shift</kbd>, then click the square corresponding to the end of the time span.\n\n   > \\[!NOTE]\n   > You can select up to a one-month range on your contributions calendar. If you select a larger time span, we will only display one month of contributions.\n\n## Viewing a timeline of your contributions\n\n1. In the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile picture, then click **Your profile**.\n2. To see a timeline of your contributions, starting with your most recent work, scroll down to the \"Contribution activity\" section of the page.\n3.
